Pinealon
Pinealon (Glu-Asp-Arg)
A synthetic pineal tripeptide from the Khavinson research group. Studied for neuroprotection, circadian rhythm regulation, and cognitive support.
Pinealon is not approved by the FDA for human use. It is sold strictly for research purposes only and is not intended for human consumption, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease or condition. Purchase and use is entirely at your own risk.

Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Arg) developed by Vladimir Khavinson's group at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology — the same group responsible for Epithalon and Semax. It is derived from the pineal gland.
Like other peptides from this research group, Pinealon has been studied primarily in Russian clinical and laboratory settings with limited independent Western validation. It is thought to act as an epigenetic regulator, entering cells and influencing gene expression directly.
What research shows
- Neuroprotective effects in hypoxia and ischemia models
- Circadian rhythm normalization in some studies
- Cognitive function support in age-related cognitive decline models
- Pineal gland regulation and melatonin pathway support
- Epigenetic modulation — proposed mechanism of direct gene expression influence
What remains unknown
- Western clinical trial validation — most research originates from one research group
- Long-term safety profile
- Optimal dosing and cycling
- Mechanism of action beyond proposed epigenetic effects
Administration basics
Common use cases
Neuroprotection, sleep optimization, cognitive support, longevity protocols.
Half-life
Short. Typically dosed in cycles.
Administration
Intranasal drops primarily. Subcutaneous injection also used.

Doses used in research
- Khavinson research has used 0.1–1mg per injection or intranasally
- Community protocols commonly report 0.1–0.5mg/day intranasally
Administration routes studied
Typical protocol duration
Research and community protocols commonly follow 10–20 day courses.
Common stacking protocols
- Pinealon + Epithalon — the most commonly reported combination in Russian peptide bioregulator protocols
- Pinealon + Semax — combined in some neuroprotective stacks
Contraindications & combinations to avoid
- Sleep medications (benzodiazepines, Z-drugs, melatonin supplements) — additive effects on sleep and circadian rhythm are possible
- Limited human data outside of Khavinson group research
Dosing information reflects doses used in published research and commonly reported community protocols only. This is not a personal recommendation. These compounds are not FDA-approved for human use in the contexts described. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any protocol.
